This website

When you contact us, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email, venue, city and anything else you tell us. We use it to reply to you and prepare for our conversation. We don’t sell it or share it with anyone except the service that delivers the form to our inbox.

We may count page visits in aggregate to understand which pages are useful. We don’t use advertising trackers.

At the machine

For alcohol sales, the machine reads the barcode on a guest’s ID to confirm they are 21 or older, and a camera compares the guest’s face with the ID photo on the machine. It stores the result of the check, the time and the ID’s expiration date as a compliance record for the venue. To apply the two-drink limit and staff blocks, it also keeps a one-way code made from the ID number, which can’t be turned back into the number and is deleted when the venue closes. It does not store ID photos or face images. Pennsylvania law prohibits selling or sharing this scan data, and we don’t.

Card and wallet payments are processed by a certified payment processor. DrinkDock doesn’t receive or store full card numbers. If a guest asks for a receipt by text, the phone number is used to send it and isn’t used for marketing.

The compliance log of checks and staff actions belongs to the venue, which decides how long to keep it. Sales data is shared in aggregate with beverage brands only from venues that agree to it, with no venue names and no guest data.
